How long is the turn around time?
This depends on how busy I am at the time! Obviously busy times of the year such as Christmas makes the turnaround longer but I usually work one to two weeks. If something is needed quicker, please just ask and I will do my best to accommodate.
Does the painting come framed?
Yes, as I draw everything by hand I like to fill the space and draw it to fit so I like to mount and frame all my artwork. I can, of course, send without if you prefer and adjust the price accordingly.
Can I have anything written on it?
Yes of course! It is your picture! You can have anything you wish.
Can you send it directly to the recipient?
Yes of course, I can add a note in with the order with a short message to let them know who it is from.
I have an idea for a picture that i want you to draw, is this possible?
Yes of course, all commissions are welcome. I can help with an idea you already have or we can work together to achieve that special something that you have in mind. All commissions are priced based on work involved.
I would like a venue portrait/house portrait how does it work?
I usually draw straight from photos provided. This can be the whole building or just the front door if having pets included so to gain more detail. If photos aren’t possible, I can view images from Google Maps or the venue websites. A proof will be send in pencil before I add the paint and coloured details.
I would like a pet portrait how does it work?
I can use one or a few photos provided to create the image of the pet sitting amongst flowers or on grass etc any where you wish. A proof will then be sent in pencil for you to approve before I add the paint and coloured details.
