We are delighted to operate 100% plastic free. Our greeting cards are supplied ‘naked’, simply sealed with a paper clasp to keep the card and envelope happily snuggled together. All our wrapping and packaging that leaves the studio is made from paper or card, even our tape for sealing the frames in boxes is made with paper and is 100% recyclable.
Our wooden frames and are FSC certified. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an environmental organisation that ensures the protection of our worlds forests and their inhabitants meaning that all certified paper and wood it is eco-friendly and sustainable. These are also supplied with recyclable glass never plastic.
And when it comes to the painting I use toxic free professional watercolour paints made by Winsor & Newton and Faber-Castell pencils who only use wood from their own sustainably managed forests for the production of their gorgeous watercolour pencils.
It is a huge step for a small business to ‘go green’ but being an animal and nature lover I believe any little change can make a huge difference to this wonderful world we live in.
